Office Policy

Dr. Bohan is committed to your child having a quality dental experience wherein he or she can establish a trusting relationship with our team. Because procedures can often require intense focus and great attention to detail, Dr. Bohan asks that all parents and family members kindly wait in our waiting area during all dental appointments. Your child deserves the highest quality of workmanship, and the utmost of our team's attention during their appointment. Having family members present during appointments can often be distracting for both the patient and the staff member. Please feel assured that our first priority is making sure your child does not have a negative experience. Dr. Bohan never practices dentistry on an unwilling child. If your child exhibits anxiety or fear, we will recommend a fantastic children's dentist to take over his/her care. Children who have negative dental experiences often become adults who are unwilling to visit their dentist regularly. We always strive to protect the trust relationship with your child. Dr. Bohan is available prior to & following appointments to discuss any issues with you.

Appointment Policies

Dearest patients, because appointments fill up quickly, and we have turned other patients away in order ro reserve one-on-one time especially for you, our office does require 24 hours (1 business day) notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If 24 hrs (1 business day) notice is not provided, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. Our appointment times are reserved for specific procedures. Most patients don't realize that dental appointments can range between 1 hr in length to 3 or more hours in length. Last minute cancellations are very difficult to fill. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Regarding Root Canals ...

When scheduling an appointment for a root canal and/or crown, a deposit of $250 will be required to book the appointment. Please note that with these kinds of appointments, 72 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule in order for the deposit to be refundable. These appointments are 2-3 hours in length, and are sometimes scheduled weeks in advance. This unfortunately has become necessary due to a high rate of cancellation, and our inability to fill such a large opening at the last minute.
